What is an ‘A’ Service?

Your first visit should occur around 10,000 miles or within the first year, as determined by the Flexible Service System. After that, subsequent visits should take place every 20,000 miles, or every two years.

Services Performed:

Interior function check

  • Inspect warning and indicator lamps, as well as interior lighting.

  • Examine windscreen wipers, washer systems, and headlamp cleaning systems.

  • Reset the maintenance service counter in the instrument cluster.

Wheels and brakes

  • Check the front brake pads for lining thickness.

  • Inspect tyres for damage and overall condition.

  • Adjust tyre inflation pressure as needed.

Engine compartment

  • Complete an oil change and replace the filter.

  • Check fluid levels for the engine cooling system, including anti-freeze and corrosion protection, as well as the windshield washer system.

Brake system

  • Verify and adjust the battery fluid level if necessary.

  • Inspect the battery condition.

  • Ensure proper operation of the catch, safety catch, and hinges on the engine hood.

Boot

  • Adjust the tyre inflation pressure on the spare tyre as needed.

  • Inspect the battery condition.

However, if an antibacterial clean or recharge is needed, we'll take care of it while you wait. It's quick and efficient, and your system will keep you cool for another two years.

We also offer competitive prices on car, van, and 4×4 air-conditioning services, including recharges, antibacterial cleans, and bundled packages.

What is a ‘B’ Service?

Your initial visit should occur around 20,000 miles or one year after the previous service, as determined by the Flexible Service System. After that, subsequent visits should take place every 20,000 miles, or every two years.

Services Performed:

Interior Function check

  • Inspect warning and indicator lamps, as well as illumination and interior lighting.

  • Check the windscreen wiper, windscreen washer system, and headlamp cleaning system.

  • Reset the maintenance service counter in the instrument cluster. Replace the dust filter (this is not applicable to the SL-Class).

  • Replace the combination filter (SL-Class).

  • Conduct a parking brake function test.

Wheels, brakes

  • Inspect the condition and thickness of the front and rear brake discs.

  • Check the lining thickness of the front and rear brake pads.

  • Examine the tyres for damage and their overall condition.

  • Measure the tread depth of the tyres and record it in millimetres.

  • Adjust the tyre inflation pressure as needed.

Underside of Vehicle

  • Inspect for any major component leakage.

  • Look for chafe marks, damage to line routing, and damaged components.

  • Examine the condition of the front axle ball joints and rubber boots.

  • Check the condition of mechanical steering components and rubber boots.

Engine Compartment

  • Inspect for any major component leakage.

  • Look for chafe marks, damage to line routing, and damaged components.

  • Check and refill all fluid levels. 

  • Perform an engine oil change and replace the filter.

  • Examine the engine cooling system, including anti-freeze and corrosion protection.

  • Inspect the brake system.

  • Check the power steering.

  • Verify the functionality of the Active Body Control system.

  • Examine the windscreen washer system.

  • Adjust the battery fluid level if necessary.

  • Inspect the battery condition.

MOT Service

The test is split in to six main groups

Lights

Check the condition of front and rear lamps, including headlamps, headlamp aim, stop lamps, rear reflectors, direction indicators, hazard lamps, and rear fog lights.

Steering and Suspension

Inspect the steering control, steering mechanism or system, power steering, transmission shafts, wheel bearings, front suspension, rear suspension, and shock absorbers.

Tyres and Wheels

Assess the tyre size and type, check the tyre condition, and inspect the road wheels.

Brakes

Inspect the ABS warning system and controls, evaluate the condition of the service brake system, check the condition of the parking brake system, assess the service brake performance, and evaluate the parking brake performance.

Seat Belts

Assess the mountings, condition, operation, and position.

General

Inspect the driver's view of the road, test the horn, examine the exhaust system and emissions, assess the vehicle's overall condition, check the mirrors, review the fuel system, and verify the registration plates and VIN numbers.
